TaliCorfor The Record 80's and 90's Edition

I purchased this game for a family get together. It arrived fast and was just as described. The trivia questions were perfect for those of us who grew up in the 80s and 90s. The game did not come with instructions on exactly how to play, and found the actual rolling of dice and moving board pieces did not make much sense. So we just took turns answering questions as teams. I am rating a 4 as the actual board game was hard to figure out but the Trivia questions were great!

It's fun. The questions are good and simple enough, but it's SO CHEAPLY MADE! The 60s & 70s version was made so much better. The cards were thicker and the die was weighted. This one, the cards seem like cheap cardstock, if that. And the die is so lightweight it barely rolls.So I mean, it's fun, but don't expect much in terms of quality.

This game is great. Me and my husband have the 80's Tirvial Pursuit and we only know the music questions so it was kind or hard for us to play. I found this on Amazon and we love it. The game has plenty of questions and catergories. The only thing that could be different is the game board. It is very small. We played the game in about 10 min. The startegy of the game and the spaces you land on are great, just not enough spaces to keep the game going very long. Other than that game is great.

Game play is not the best. The board is laid out in a way that feels uneven, and if you get stuck in the Mosh pit it can be really frustrating to get out. However, the questions were done very well. Each category has a good mix of hard and easy, with out being too extreme in either direction. We found that we can trade the game board out for a Trivial Pursuit board, and the questions work really well.

I like the questions but if you play it by the rules the game ends pretty quickly. Question difficultly is about right for someone who grew up during the era. My biggest complaint was the game board, if You answer all the questions right and roll 6's you can whip through it in about 7-8 turns. We ended up using a old trivial pursuit board and assigning colors to the cards.

Fun, some challenging categories, especially Real Name. My friends and I, as well as my mom, played this but we're all pretty adept at music trivia so we changed the rules that you only get one turn instead of playing till you get one wrong. We found the board was getting run by one person too often for us!

Big hit for the music lovers in my home, myself included. The only reason I gave it four instead of five is there are too many music hall of fame questions.

One of the better music trivia games on here. My husband really likes it.
