I’m not big on brand names, but oftentimes, they have that name for a reason. This would be a prime example. I purchased these batteries to replace old batteries for cordless phones. Although I realize I am one of three people in the United States who still have a home phone, that’s another discussion. The point of discussion is, these batteries last quite a while between charges (I have not timed it, but I’m guessing about three days if not more). That’s standby time and not time with regular use, because I don’t use them a lot. So, if I don’t use them a lot, why do I still have a landline? Again, another discussion.I cannot attest to how long they will last, but these batteries replaced old Panasonic batteries of the same type and they lasted about three years to the best of my recollection. That was with regular use. That’s why I chose Panasonic batteries. I’ve used off-brand batteries, but I had one off-brand which had a couple of batteries in the packs explode – not an exaggeration, they literally exploded. So, with some things you want to go with a name you recognize. This is one of those things.

I opened the package and installed it in all of my phone handsets. But 2 were duds. I tested it on the other phones and they still didn't work. Shucks!

I have the base and 3 extra wireless cordless phones and my Panasonic batteries lasted about 7-8 years. Then I got a generic version at the local store and they lasted about 4 years. The phone was still working but getting lots of static. I couldn't find the orange panasonic but an off brand that said it worked for my model number. When I installed them "the handsets" said "insert battery" like it wasn't recognizing the battery. I waited 4 then 7 then 12 then 24hrs; normally the phone says 7hrs to charge. Nothing ever happened so I returned the batteries and found these Brand name online. The panasonic batteries arrived quickly and once installed was recognized by my phone handsets; all said "charge for 7 hrs" then after 7 hours changed to "fully charged." It is late here but tomorrow I will make a call and hope the static is gone and the people on the other end can hear me. So far, if I hit "talk" or "speaker" I do NOT hear the static.Long story short; start with the Panasonic batteries first, even if you have to order online and wait a few days.

Worked well and are better than the originals

I've purchased these twice. Gave them the benefit of the doubt that something was wrong with MY phone. Found out the hard way it was not my phone it was the batteries. I have 4 panasonic cordless Dect 6.0 phones in my house. They have worked perfectly for years. Last year when it came time to change the batteries I tried these batteries. Within 45-60 days, my base phone made a strange sound- three or four beeps that sounded like it was calling a number, then the phone face lit up with a bright white light, and then just went black. The yellow light that indicated it is in the charger went off. I picked up the phone and it said across the screen "DO NOT USE THESE BATTERIES". The phone was completely dead and locked up, until I changed the batteries. So I put two more batteries in and this time they lasted about 10 weeks and the same thing happened. I then got a new phone thinking something was wrong with the base phone. I also bought 3 other new units and replaced all the old phones. So, I loaded up all the phones with new batteries- and imagine my surprise when one by one the same thing happened to ALL THE PHONES. These batteries are no good and they are certainly not Panasonic batteries. In all the years I owned the phones I never had this happened and NEVER saw a warning on the screen to not use these batteries. My only suggestion is BUYER BEWARE!
