Our dog loves it!

It’s adorable!!
Really cute dog toy. My 70lb golden doodle loves it. He’s about 2 years old and fairly gentle with his toys. He used to rip his toys up but I think he realized when they are torn up he can’t play with them so now he tries to be more gentle with his toys. It’s a plush toy so if you have a dog that likes to go rough and destroy their toys then it probably won’t last very long its not like one of those tough dog chew toys but its holding up pretty good for my dog. its one of his favorites now!

Perfect prop!
I am totally taken with this great line of clever, “tongue in cheek” dog toys. Capt. Muttgan’s bottle of rum was my first purchase but definitely won’t be my last. It’s well made, durable and it’s a good size, it’s big enough for larger dogs, but still a manageable size for my small dog. The diameter of the bottle is small enough that she can pick it up and carry it around to play with.I actually purchased this particular item to use with my dog’s Halloween costume. She’s going to be a pirate this Halloween and what’s a pirate without a good bottle of rum?!Great line of dog toys. Highly recommend!

He Prefers Captain Muttgan & Coke
I bought this for my friend's four-legged son (Stogie) when he became of legal age (3 years old). Everything started out fine - he would grab the bottle only after my friend would come home from work in the late afternoon. But as time passed, he would go for the bottle more and more frequently, sometimes as early as 6am. Now, I'm not blaming Amazon or the makers of Captain Muttgan, as it is a quality product. I just feel badly that I may have been a direct cause of Stogie's subsequent alcoholism, like putting a loaded gun in his paw.

cute toy
Well, the toy was smaller than I thought. In my hurry, I ordered this one because it would arrive sooner, but I had been looking at larger similar style of this toy and those were longer, much longer. The funny thing is that the each dog wants the toy and constantly playing keep-away and take-away. Luckily they play well together and no one becomes upset about it. Good toy even if it is a bit small/short. Keeping it because of the comedy of the dogs playing with it.
