The carburetor was a perfect replacement on my Red Max trimmer. However, the grommet with fuel lines did not fit the hole in the fuel tank. It was too small. The original was so deteriorated and brittle that it is unusable, so I am only slightly better off than before I ordered this kit. Somehow, I now need to figure out how to reduce the size of the hole so the new fuel grommet will fit and seal, or somehow find another fuel grommet that is larger and will work with this fuel tank.

I was replacing the carburetor on a 20 + year old Echo string trimmer and all parts that came with kitFit and worked perfectly. The carb itself was all in one piece which made it super easy.

This carb makes my 20+ year old weed wacker work like it’s brand new. It was very easy to install (10-15 min), I had to trim the fuel lines a little bit to get it to fit properly but that’s to be expected. Worth the purchase considering all of the items you receive.
