It doesn't pack away to the size shown sitting in the person's hand, it's as wide as it is deployed when packed away. Quite heavy for a roll mat but the weight is clearly listed so you know what to expect. The pillow is barely any thicker than the body, you will need an actual pillow. Otherwise it's very comfortable, I can sleep on my side on a solid floor or slightly uneven ground no problem

Was quite sceptical about this but wanted something to take to boomtown festival. I don’t like typical air beds as I find they’re not firm enough and generally uncomfortable. This air bed is very firm and provides good cushioning. When folded in half and used as a single it’s super super comfortable and when used as a double it’s still comfortable.It does lose a small amount of air overnight, I just partially open the valve in the morning and blow some additional air into it.Also used it to sit outside on the grass and everyone complimented how comfortable it was.It isn’t too heavy, my previous similar bed weighed twice the amount of this one. I’d say it’s also a very good size to sleep on. When rolled up it’s a similar size to a roll mat just a bit heavier. I used it for 6 days camping and was thoroughly impressed. Glad I bought it.It appears to be very well made and would expect it to last a while!

Used this in the car and on the ground and it's great. Can also add some extra inflation by blowing into it. Spot on although can't really re-use the bag it comes with easily, as it won't really want to fold back down, but can just get a different bag. Makes a big difference to sleep and is very long.

Bought this based on positive feedback and supposed quality and ease of use. Turned out to be RUBBISH! Horrible smell on unpacking, and 'self-inflating' = 1 cm at best filled with air that all leaked out within minutes. Perhaps a dodgy item, but says volumes about 'quality' control if so

Easy to setup, but sometimes tricky to get it back to being the original small size it was when it was unpacked first time. Requires you to use effort to get the air out then also suck out the air using the valve. Perhaps I'm doing it wrong. Otherwise great item and can even have a comfy night on the floor.

Fits well in our pop top camper. Easy to inflate, can give it a little extra blow if you want it firm. Deflates easily enough and fits in the bag. Took a few practice runs for it to go in easily. Cheaper mats out there bit we went for something with good reviews and a quality name and I'm not disappointed.

Why present it in a bag which, once it’s been released from manufacturers, almost impossible to get it back very bad product

Il materassino autogonfiante si è rivelato comodissimo. Temevo non tornasse all'ingombro iniziale una volta gonfiato ma con un po' di tecnica e pazienza è tornato come appena acquistato.E' dotato di una comoda sacca per il trasporto e degli elastici che lo mantengono arrotolato.Quando si apre la valvola devono passare almeno 4/5 minuti affinché entri l'aria e prenda la sua forma migliore, poi appena chiusa la valvola diventa davvero comodissimo. Personalmente avrei optato per uno spessore più alto ma si è rivelato comunque valido.I dichiarati 3/5 cm di spessore per il modello da me scelto (3 cm il materassino e 5 cm il cuscino) purtroppo non sono reali e quindi 4 stelle proprio per la vendita ingannevole perché nonostante dopo almeno 15 minuti dall'apertura della valvola, le reali dimensioni di ingombro non superano i 2,5 cm per il materassino e i 4 cm per il cuscino.Nonostante ciò lo ritengo un prodotto robusto e valido. Io l'ho utilizzato per il mare, per ammorbidire gli scogli e le sdraio prendisole e per questo, ad utilizzo e collaudo personale fatto, avrei preferito uno spessore maggiore ma posso assicurare che nonostante questo è stato apprezzato.La chiusura avviene nel modo inverso, aprendo la valvola e poi con un po' di pazienza pressarlo lentamente, arrotolarlo nella stessa maniera di come era arrotolato appena acquistato e lasciare defluire l'aria per poi chiudere la valvola.

Great for the thickness. If u r going to sleep on the ground, buy the thicker one. If u r in a cot, this one works great.
