AGM MASTECH Slot car Set with Racing Assistant APP No.ASR-05 1:43 Scale

It was a little difficult to assemble, but other than that my husband loves it.

The car that came with set kept flying off track even at slower speeds. Need a more powerful magnet to keep on track.

Update: Contacted the manufacturer about my problem and they promptly offered to send replacement parts. These arrived shortly afterward and the set is working well again. They acknowledged a problem with the early products and the control section of the track. They also offered to send a newer part from the factory. I expect the set will be reliable going forward. It's really fun when working!I expected some difficulty with assembly and app pairing based on other reviews - these were more or less as expected and not really a problem. I was optimistic the quality wouldn't be an issue as others noted, but that was misplaced. One of the cars stopped working after a few minutes and was confirmed not to be due to the brushes or track contact (the headlights still activate with the remote). Fortunately there was a spare included to continue racing. Everything was working well for maybe 45 minutes when one of the lanes stopped working. No amount of troubleshooting - trading cars, double checking, assembly, power cycling, etc. - fixed the issue. Knowing that the cars are powered by increasing the voltage on the track with the remote up to the input of 12V, I checked this with a voltmeter. The working track reaches 12V using the remote as expected, the bad lane can't get above 1.2V. I'm hoping this can be quickly resolved with a new part from the manufacturer as otherwise the set was a lot of fun, but even that makes me nervous it will be on borrowed time. Fortunately there's an extended return period on the item. Will update if something changes.

After assembly I was excited to try this out with my son. The slot cars though kept going off the track. This is not the first time I used a slot car. This one though we cannot use. Very disappointed considering the price.

Bought it, opened and set up the track only for the #2 controller to not be working. So it’s pretty much useless for two brothers to play with. Not sure how this sort of thing passes QC, which is obviously lacking! Bought tons of stuff on Amazon and this is my first review- so you know it’s BAD!

Got this for my kids for xmas. WHEN ASSEMBLED, cars run pretty good, and the track does a good job of maintaining an electrical circuit. So that's cool...The problem is none of the connections are very stable; nothing really seems to 'lock' in place. On top of that, the instructions are vague, with badly translated english text and very low res/tiny example pics that don't really help with some of the trickier parts, like making the loop connect.I guess compared to tyco tracks of my youth, harder to assemble, but better performance of cars when it's together. YMMV.

Our boys love it and it works great. The app does make it event more interesting for they. They are 5 & 7.

This race track takes me back to my childhood! Everything about it is amazing. The track allows for different course configurations. Race cars 🏎 are super fast! You get an extra car as a gift 🎁 and my very favorite part - the appreciation of figuring out how to put the track together. It was a lesson in physics 🧪 for my daughter. But definitely some great bonding time! This track set is good for all ages. I am fan & highly recommend to anyone thinking about purchasing.
