I was looking forward to receiving these syringes. I have a cat with mouth cancer and I have to orally feed and water. I had been using the regular 10ml syringes provided by the vet, but those get sticky after a few uses and do not dispense smoothly. Well, this product is worse!!! Right out of the box, first use, it "jets" about a cc of liquid or food spontaneously at the first amount of pressure and you have no control. They do not flow smoothly!!! They make quick spurts with a force if you try to dispense with them. WILL NOT GLIDE!! This can be dangerous to the animal as you can easily aspirate them with the "spurt" it sends out. PLUS, the animal is quickly turned off and will refuse. I am simply going to buy the 100 pack of the regular 10ml syringes with the rubber tips and when they start sticking, I will toss them away. A much better solution. I DO NOT recommend these 4 paws syringes and I cannot even imagine what would happen with a smaller animal than a cat!! Horrible product!! The container that holds the liquids is soft, not rigid. Just awful is all I can say. If I could give a zero I would. Shame on the people who made this product! You are endangering the animals!!

I purchased 3 sets of these to feed several kittens I was taking care of. There are two types of feeders in each package, nipple and tapered. I fed the kittens with the nipple syringe and I had no problem feeding them. This held the kitten formula well, there were no leaks, and cleaning these were no problem. Easy to take apart and put back together. Once you use them more than once the plunge is easier to control. I would recommend this item to others. I am please with this item. If I have to purchase again, I would purchase these again. I was very please at how fast I got these due to the kittens arriving shortly there after. They came in handy and at the right time.

I was totally excited to order these as I bottle feed baby kittens and sometimes a little older ones who need the extra boost. Great at first, but then the writing wore off after two uses so you don't have an accurate reading with isn't helpful.Wish it was made better. Missed my return date.

Had to force feed a sick cat. These were just the ticket. Made it easier on myself by dispensing a pea size bit of food onto my index finger, forcing her mouth open with my thumb and middle finger then placing the index finger in her mouth. Force feeding is not fun, but these make it easier.

Got them to feed my sick cat. The plungers stick and then they shoot out the liquid food with such force that the cat could get it in it's lungs. Do not buy. They are terrible. The markings on the side rub off as soon as they get wet.

I can't live without these for my pets that need assist feeding. They don't stick, they wash easily. You customize the width of the tip. Just perfect.
