Perfect for my needs
Perfect for my needs. I'm running the full de-rated current (24A) through it continuously with no issues. If you don't need monitoring or metering, I highly recommend this PDU!!

Sturdy, compact, 30a/240V, and good for several servers/mining rigs
This is perfect for several servers or mining rigs. Make sure that whatever you plug into it supports 240-volt power. It is compact and has different mounting options. The cable is sturdy and has a L6-30P plug, so make sure the receptacle is L6-30R.

Handy
Finally broke down and purchased a pdu. If I had known how easy it was to use I'd have made the switch to 250V systems years ago. No more problems finding a plug in. The only downside is having to purchase different power cables to use the PDU, but that is an upgrade well worth expense. Cable management is nice but the best the best thing is knowing I am not going to overload a circuit as add hardware to the pdu. Yes I doubled the breaker size but quadrupled wattage draw from the single PDU vs. 120 outles with power strips. 120*15= 1800 watts 250*30=7500 watts

Works well, gets warm close to the cord even with no load
Seems to work well as a PDU. Have had no problems in the few months I've owned it.Possible Drawbacks:1- it is constantly warm just slightly lower down the bar from where the cable enters2- the price increased a lot since I bought it... Because of these two things I'd probably look at a higher end PDU and not buy this one again

Inexpensive but high quality
Using it to run 4 GPU miners. Excellent quality - no complaints whatsoever.

no brainer if you trip outlets a lot like me. edited to 1 star from 5 back to 3
Edit 3: don't buy from this company. They blocked my phone number and email. you can only talk to salesforce and not cyberpower and they will not honor your cyberpower warranty through salesforce. Stay far away from this company until they ditch salesforce. Can't even replace product as it has been discontinued due to derating. They tried to blame the government fyi... This is all lol.I called amazon and demanded something be done. Bare minimum, the value of my warranty needs to be refunded for the 4 cyberpower products I bought if they think they can block my number and email... Ridiculousedit 2: After some thought I am changing this review back to a 3 from a 1 from my initial 5. The product is still quality, and has both been functioning fine. Still not happy about the derating but there is also no comparable product in the price range. Amazon is selling them for 111 dollars again. I need one more, I am buying one more. Just very upsetting a product can be derated like this... and then go up in price. at least the amazon page is honest and states in the actual product info that it is derated. it is a bit hidden and should be on the top summary listing, and the title should be changed to 24A not 30A, but it is there somewhere at least.edit: this product has been discontinued by cyberpower and it was derated to 24 amps instead of 30 amps. Either amazon owes me a refund, or cyberpower owes me proper product replacement... Not cool. I bought 2 of these. that's a 12 amp loss in total combined rating. and they were 99 bucks when I purchased. on their website now, the msrp is 199! lolsee product page on cyberpower website for more information on this derating. Was their a recall or what's the deal??? I'm concerned now to say the least.old post:Been Mining litecoin for a couple years. picked up several more miners recently and I was having issues tripping the breaker box all the time so I finally looked into using 240v power from the dryer and RV plugs at my place. I loved this unit from the moment I plugged it in. I actually ordered 2 more of them immediately. I use one on both dryer outlets, and one on the RV outlet, 100 ft L6-30 extension cord, to one, 50 ft to another, and 25 from the 3rd outlet. I don't like to overload circuits, so I only push them at 4000-5000 watts max. Mix up running a few L3+ with bitcoin miners, to even out power usage since the litecoin miners need less power. I get 5 machines going at a time on these things for about 5000 watt draw average. So all three PDU's are on separate 240v breakers and one is actually one a different meter all together. I love it. Should have done this sooner. The 240v splitters and adapters were spendy though. But worth it. My 120v cables use to get so damn hot, and I have burnt several outlets in my house. The cables don't even get warm on the 240v as long as you use the better awg wire cable... I was expecting this thing to be much much bigger than it is fyi. Never bought a server rack PDU before. So for anyone in my position. This thing is literally just a standard Power strip, but twice as long and with 240v outlets. and it comes with screws and brackets to attach it to a server rack. you don't have to use them. I'm using like a standard powerstrip lol Also, noob to this, but I am totally lost if I am running 220v, 240v, or 250v? 240v is the assumed correct answer? it's just 2 120v lines tied together I believe? at least in the states.
