I didn't realize it was a self-assy frame but it didn't take too long to assemble. I got a few extra screws and wood pegs which was very much appreciated!! The pictures were easy to place in each frame. seems sturdy and I like that there are sturdy hooks to have the option to hang the long or short way!

The holes didn’t all line up, which made it difficult to put together, but after doing some drilling we were able to assemble it and the end product looks nice. Looks as pictured. I like that its dimensional!

Yes, the grouping of frames are awesome. I used this as a wedding gift. I used engagement photos on the outter frames and I put "our wedding photo" in the center frame. inside each of the frames behind each photo I placed the opposite landscape or portrait photo so they can make their own arrangement of the frames. They absolutely loved this idea. They can rearrange to change the look for a different room later or if they update the current room look.Thank youMary

It's a little pricier than some similar frames, but it looks so good. Exactly what I was looking for.

This collage frame has to be assembled, but arrived without the hardware needed to assemble it! The instructions clearly showed that the hardware was included! As it now stands, it's too lightweight to be a boat anchor, so it is totally USELESS! It's going in the trash. I have a suggestion for the manufacturer--check that the hardware is included before sealing the box!! I have requested a refund.

I've bought quite a few of these collage frames of different sorts and are no stranger to assembling furniture and models and such. Here's a fair assessment of what the experience is like and what you get for your money.PROS: You save a dollar or two assembling it yourself.CONS: How much is 30 minutes of your time worth? How many people can't spread everything out and assemble it? Are you paying for a collage frame or for a puzzle activity?PROS: The packaging protects the contents and comes in a nice little box.CONS: The packaging saves the shipper money (not passed on to you) since a large flat box which a pre-assembled product would come in is at risk of damage in handling and then returns.PROS: They give you extra screws.CONS: You need the extra screws because they break when installing.PROS: The "wood" is better than cheap plastic.CONS: They drill half the pilot holes wrong so you will spend some time with your cheap screws trying to get them into the "wood".PROS: It looks like the product photos when finished.CONS: It is flimsy after assembly and having bought a few, misaligned as well and shows.PROS: You can take pride and say "I put that together myself."CONS: Others looking at it will say with mockery "You obviously put that together yourself because it looks like it."Will I buy it again? Probably since I have them up and didn't try to get a refund on them and did what I needed it to do with all the hassles.
