I used this oil on my scalp after removing very tight braids. My braids were so tight that after I removed them my scalp was extremely sensitive red with bumps and this oil healed my scalp after massaging it into my scalp for 7 days straight.

The oil smells great, like apples, and is organic. It has a lot of oil for the price compared to other brands. The bottle is labeled with a USDA Organic insignia, which means it is certified organic, a real essential oil, with the only ingredient being Organic Roman Chamomile. This is an ingredient for my homemade skin serum. It's an excellent moisturizer and the natural fragrance is pleasant. The scent on its own is strong, not unpleasant, but when incorporated in a product it is wonderful.

I was looking to replace my chamomile essential oil after using it up and wanted to try this one. what a mistake, smelled absolutely disgusting and not at all like chamomile, had to toss.

I get a hint of chamomile but it isn't subtle. It's a wierd strong smell. Not a soft chamomile smell when put into the diffuser
