Struggling with severe acid reflux and feeling like I can't digest my food, even drinking a smoothie. A doctor tried to put me on PPI medicine for frequent heartburn, while this did eliminate the heartburn while I was on them, it didn't do anything to resolve the underlying cause. I had weak stomach acid, as a result, my food was still trying to digest many hours after a meal. Weak stomach acid is still acid, and trying to sleep 4-5 hours after a meal that still wasn't digested caused stomach acid to roll up my throat, burning my esophagus. The solution was simple, I realized I needed more stomach acid to fully digest a meal. This is a great product for the price and I highly recommend it for the purpose of totally digesting your food. (Also, weak stomach acid interferes with B Vitamin absorption, so on top of eliminating my heartburn, I'm also getting better nutrient absorption.)

If you have acid reflux, the truth is that you probably don't make enough Hydrochloric acid. You can take all the proton pump inhibitors in the world and you won't get better. You actually need MORE HCI. That's the case with me. I bloat up and belch like crazy unless I take two of these with every meal. What a difference! No bloating. No belching. Try it. You find it is the answer to your prayers. :) Another interesting tidbit is that if you don't make enough HCL, your candida colony quickly get out of hand, which in turn causes no end of negative impact to your health. I used constantly fight candida until I took 2 of these with every meal. I still have to stay off sugar and too much fruit, but the candida battle has much improved.

these may work if you have just slight stomach issues. but i was up to taking 12 at once and still felt nothing and did not work for me

I am not sure why I bought this. It solves a problem no one has. The stomach makes sufficient acid (probably, too much).I don't believe adding a little acid to you stomach after meals is going to help you burn calories, or digest fast enough (ok, maybe a meaningless increase in speed, I dunno).Sae your money folks. I wish I had.

Used this for gastritis. I have a hiatal hernia and Gerd. It is VERY important to heal the stomach first before using this or it will do you no favors. I used DGL, slippery elm and bicarbonate of soda then bitters before every meal and then when I thought the lining of my stomach could take it I took one of these at each meal with meat for several weeks before I upped it to two. I am not symptom free but then again my hiatal hernia will never go away but life is so much better

This is the first time I have used this brand. I had another one on subscription but kept finding it was out of stock. This is a good sized bottle for the price. It works just as well as the other brand I used and aids digestion.
