J.S. Hanger Soft Matte Space-Saving Clothes Hangers for Shirt, Non-slip, Black, 20-Pack

These are the best hangers I have ever used!!!I come from a long line of wooden-hanger snobs, so the notion of anything else was hard to swallow. I'd helped my friend redo her closet with all velvet hangers - thankfully, as it taught me that I really find them impractical, tedious to use, and cheap-feeling. During that process, we broke at least a quarter of her hangers on really heavy items like blouses and t-shirts (hence my "cheap-feeling" attitude).The aesthetic, however, was admittedly simpler, more organized, sleeker. I decided to see if there was a hanger out there that married my need for quality with a similar more streamlined product. While "open ended slip-proof" hangers proved sturdy and space-saving, they all look like cheap plastic hangers.I almost despaired, but then these hangers arrived and I was immediately in love. Their rubberized texture/coating makes them very sturdy despite their appearance, keeps even spaghetti-strap tops from slipping off, and provides a clean and contemporary feel to my closet. Visually, they are discrete and draw the focus to the garments, making it easier for me to find things. They also have given me soooo much more room in my closet. I was so pleased I bought a bunch of the matching skirt hangers and have fallen in love with those as well.I'm stupid and didn't buy enough originally, so I was only able to convert half of my closet to these... and now they're no longer available?!?! Fingers crossed that they re-stock these. And if you see them at your local retail store, I strongly recommend buying them - but make sure you get enough lest you wind up like me!

Work well for button shirts. The finish is very anti slip so your shirt is not going to fall off.

Good set of hangers, but one of them was broken upon delivery!

3 were broken and for the price I was expecting a higher quality hanger. Very fragile. :-( I'll be sticking with the velvet hangers in the future.

These hangers are the best thing that ever happened to closets and people. I ordered 1 package of 20 to try it out. I liked them so much I ordered two more packages, but I still need more and am concerned that they are no longer available and Amazon is not sure if they will be available again. I found that since they were all one piece they were so strong they didn't come apart or break as wooden and plastic hangers do, or bend as cheap plastic or wire hangers do. I loved the non-slip, light rubber coating with rounded corners so that light blouses didn't slip off and sweater shoulders don't stretched out at strange angles. They are thin and made better use of my closet space than any other hanger, except the free, ever bending, slippery wire hangers that come free from cleaners. I highly recommend these hangers!

I've had these for a couple of years, and they are now gummy to the touch. I'm throwing them out. Initially the texture of the hanger made sense, but now it just feels too sticky. I wouldn't buy them again.

I didn't give this product 5 stars only because I didn't like that they had an odor upon opening the wrapping. They did have a good feel to the weight and construction. Definitely not flimsy and sturdier than some flocked slimline hangers. The rubberized finish is definitely a bit higher-end compared to the smooth plastic ones. However, the rubberized finish was just slightly too tacky (sticky) for the use I want them for (for male). If you want a slim rubberized hanger though I recommend this one.
