I'm not sure how long ago I made the switch to raw sugar, but it has been enough years that it may be more than a decade; the flavor is simply much better, cleaner than granulated white; it doesn't have that acrid bite. It costs more but I use so much less of it that it more than balances out; my coffee is the only thing I put sugar in anyway, honey for anything else. It can leave a bit of undissolved in the bottom, which is an indicator I used more than I meant to - which is actually not much - about 1 sugar pack's worth. It is much better for cooking uses, sprinkle it over the top of a batch of cornbread - oh yeah! There are a few different brands most of us recognize and this is likely the most popular; I can't say I personally can taste any difference in them, but my flavor/smell sense is severely diminished. This brand does tend to run a bit higher than others, but it lasts me long enough that it isn't a big deal.

Sugar in the Raw? More like sugar in my heart. These golden little crystals are the unrefined rockstars of my morning routine—bold, natural, and just crunchy enough to remind you they’re the real deal. Each packet feels like a tiny gift from the sugar gods, elevating my coffee from “meh” to “sip-and-sigh.” It’s sweet, it’s clean, it’s got molasses swagger. Honestly, if sugar had a red carpet, this would be strutting down it.

I am not going to rate this down because it is what it is, but just a warning - don't think you will be using this to sweeten your ice tea. These crystals don't dissolve, they are like small rock candy. They may dissolve in hot beverages, but this is definitely the wrong choice for sweetening cold beverages.

I have been using this sugar for years. I no longer like any other sugar , because they can't compare to this sugar in the raw

I love brown sugar and sugar in the raw doesn’t miss however the type of packaging it comes in is not very secured so it allows for sugar to come out of the box next thing you know you’ll be getting 1lb of sugar instead of 2. I’m not sure if it was just that one box I received however I don’t want to risk it so I’ll be buying sugar in raw if it comes in a bag or another brown sugar that’s just as good.

Best organic sugar. Goes great in tea and coffee. Seems to be just a bit sweeter than processed white sugar. I highly recommend this sugar for others to buy.

I don't like to use much sugar, but when I do... like in my mushroom coffee or some tea... I like Sugar in the Raw. It tastes good, but not as harsh as white sugar, and that makes a lot of difference to me. I can't say it's healthier, but I hope it is. Certainly less guilt using this than the white stuff.
