Biokleen Carpet & Rug Shampoo Concentrate-64, Orange, 64 Fl Oz

I bought this product to clean carpets at my parents house. My father is sensitive to chemicals and strong perfume scents, so the fact that this product contains no harsh chemicals and dries scent free was the big attraction. I've used carpet cleaning solutions in the past and they've all been decent, but nothing incredible. This stuff is leaps and bounds better than anything I have ever used to clean carpets with.I used it at full strength to clean high traffic and more heavily stained areas that had been pre treated but still stained. The results are the carpets look fantastic, odors gone, dirt gone, stains gone. I have used it at diluted ratios as well and it still works very well. The citrus scent when first applied to carpets is very pleasing and not overpowering but it quickly fades after time.I'm using a Hoover cleaner and I've found these steps offer the best results. 1. Vacuum 2. Wet carpet with Hot Water 3. Apply cleaning solution. 4. Let it sit for 20-30 minutes and have time to work 5. Rinse, suck out residual water/solution and let dry. You can pay extra attention to heavily stained areas and pull less water/cleaner out so the cleaning solution works to combat the stains.Really, really pleased with the results from this product given that no harsh chemicals are used.

We bought and used this when we had a baby crawling around and needed to shampoo the carpets. It works well, smells great and is good option for anyone looking for safer baby friendly products like I was.

For a carpet shampoo I got this for the ingredients. The smell isn’t amazing but doesn’t bother anyone! Definitely helps with its cleaning power! Make sure you pair it with a good carpet shampooer…I have found that makes all the difference as well

Used this cleaner with a Hoover DIY model rug cleaner. The machine itself is only so-so, but the carpets came out very clean and bright. Best of all, this cleaner has no odor. The Hoover and Bissel cleaning products have a terrible chemical odor that lasts for the days Not an issue with the Biokleen. We'd use it again.

Works great with Hoover FH50150 Carpet Basics Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet CleanerWe initially used it full strength in the compartment for the shampoo (this carpet cleaner mixes it with water automatically) but after the first time I started mixing it with ≈30-40% water and it still worked well. (and made the shampoo last longer)It did a great job of pulling the dirt out of the carpet. The carpet didn't look dirty, but after 5 years it had some dirt, especially in the areas more heavily walked upon.This is nice cleaner because it does not have very much scent - you could barely smell it while using it, and afterward there was no smell. Using this (and the Hoover machine) made the carpet look like new again!

I use and love the Biokleen Bac-Out to treat our dog blankets and and urine spots so I thought that this would be a good bet as well. It does what it says and gets rid of the urine smell while leaving a fresh scent but I probably won't be getting it again because of the foaming issues. I used this in a carpet shampooer and the amount of foam that it left behind was much more than regular carpet shampoo. It took longer to clean the carpet (to get up all the foam) and the constant emptying of the waster water in the carpet cleaner machine (mostly foam!)

We have used BAC-out spray for critter "mistakes" but this is the first time I've used the carpet shampoo. I really like that it is made of normal things like essential oils, so it smells nice --- but it also does a good job. I've had a couple of stained areas that wouldn't come out under normal cleaning. One of them is completely clean and the other one is much, much better but probably too old to expect it to go away completely although I plan to keep working on it.

Clean lime scent. Haven’t got to use it in my home carpet cleaner yet... Many reviews claiming leaking product on arrival and it really does. The detergent screw type lid was tight and there were no cracks or busted plastic- it must be a manufacturing issue that is not sealing the cap well. It needs a pull tab like a bleach jug.My Amazon rep handled the issue politely and I’m looking forward to trying the remaining carpet shampoo from this brand! Why? - I’ve used the BacOut stain/ odor remover as a carpet pre-soak over (ugh..) cat urine stains. Bad ones. Lots of unhappiness from this particular cat... I soaked the areas (ok, drenched them all the way through, but it says to!), did a carpet clean using a little home Hoover carpet cleaner w/ some more BacOut+EOS detergent+a tiny bit of snuggle, did another full strength BacOut soak and then a wand extraction on the really nasty areas- my cleaner has a wand like a shopvac so I got real serious by the baseboards (grumpy cat parents understand my pain)... The smell DISSAPEARED after it was good and dry a couple days later using a fan (drenched remember?).Like to think it really was all the enzymes going to work. Didn’t feel or smell to confident while it was damp- it had a slight mildew/lime scent but it ALL dissipated and left my house and carpet (that I knew was completely ruined) smelling SO FRESH with no lingering cat urine odors.Looking forward to trying this real shampoo by the brand I know really works for my needs. Their website lacks info on their product differences but I’m hoping BacOut for the serious work and this shampoo as a second layer of defense.
