It feels cheap but it was cheap so far works fine and I have not had the issue with repeatability as long as I make sure I gripped my skin the same way and in the same place every time I take a measurement.

I have purchased this item four times before, meaning I have gone through 12 of these tapes due to failures over the last 6 or so years. But I keep coming back, and just bought them again. Either the tab tears off the end of the tape or the plastic ratchet mechanism inside breaks/seizes. I've since tried two of the best-rated, most popular electronic measuring devices but they're both inaccurate and (physically) difficult to use. So again, I keep coming back, like an abusive relationship, to this tape. Ol' reliable. It said they were low on stock so I bought another 8 just in case... I would pay $50 for just one of these things that didn't break, but here I am buying them at $2.50 a piece, tediously tearing them apart, reversing the tape to show in centimeters on the outside, and doing it all over again knowing they will eventually betray me for the landfill hahaNotice in my photo I even wrap a piece of tape ahead of the tab so that the tab *never* zips in to collide with the body of the tape measure, and still, just though a series of daily gentle body measurements, the tab will always eventually rip off.

Tool and tape work as intended. ignore the provided bodyfat chart.I think the tape measure starts at 2 because its supposed to clip into the other side of the tape after you wrap it around your belly/waist. The space in between the two slots is about two inches so it makes sense. Disregard those other reviews about it. They just didnt understand why its designed like that.The body fat chart is complete nonsense though. I measured myself three times and calculated it online with several different calculators and methods and got 18%bf. The chart they provide told me im 29% 😂

The media could not be loaded. The caliper is ridiculous. What I received was made to look like a real caliper but it is a useless toy. Clicks at 35 without touching anything. The measuring tape is accurate, but the only way to remove the pin after measurment is to lever it out with the tape itself, so it definitely won't last long. This is going right back.

I've used a few and these seem to have a positive click for consistent, accurate measuring.
