Good for carpenter bees and any crawling insects
I bought this to take care of carpenter bees that were riddling the wood with holes on my garage and house woodwork. I wore an N-95 mask and goggles to keep the diatomaceous earth out of my eyes and lungs since I was using it overhead. I bought a bulb duster from Amazon; it has a long brass nozzle nozzle that I could put in the carpenter bee holes to deliver a short puff. When the bee returned, it didn't seem to want to go back in. If it did, it would get the diatomaceous earth on its' body which it could not remove. Afterward I would plug the hole with a cork. When any larva hatched, they would get the diatomaceous earth I puffed into the hole on them. It doesn't take much to kill them. It acts as a desiccant and is very abrasive. It also is not hazardous to other animals. Every year for some reason I get tiny ants in my mailbox, with their eggs/larvae. I've swept them out, but they'd be back again the next day. A little tiny puff of diatomaceous earth took care of the problem. Too little to get on my mail, but enough to get rid of the ants.

huge bottle, easy to use
I love this bottle, you don't have to deal with a messy bag of powder. I got it for my houseplants. Seems to have totally interrupted the mealie bug life cycle on my plants. (They were only on one orchid and one succulent. It's been two months and I haven't seen a sign of them anymore.) Also, the internet had conflicting opinions about whether DE would damage plants. I see zero damage on my plants. I sprinkled it directly on them, as well as around them.PS don't breathe it, if it cuts up the bugs it stands to reason it would cut up your lungs.

It works, just READ the directions! Dusting only don't squeeze it so hard it clumps!
If you live in Florida, you have bugs!! (of all kinds)Other than having a "professional" come out and pay a huge bill to do the same thing, just not worth it by far. I will agree with some other reviews about it comes out to fast. ANSWER don't squeeze the bottle so hard (like you are shotgun @ the bugs)READ the instructions; lightly dust the area, DON'T clump it. If you came "clump the bottle, then you ease up on that and just dust it! With less then a week of "clumping & dusting the product" I am sure it works 💪!Effectiveness:And I have with DE before with my pool! Best of luck to all, bad luck to the bugs 🐛.

it seems to work
This product seems to be effective. I primarily purchased it to combat the persistent fungus gnats that infest my houseplants. However, I was disappointed with the limited quantity of product. Additionally, the applicator could be improved; it’s easy to accidentally squeeze a clump of powder out. While I tried “dusting” the affected areas, the amount of powder that came out was minimal. I’ve deducted a star due to the inadequate product quantity for the price and the challenging application process. I’ll consider repurchasing if it consistently eliminates the annoying bugs.

Took some time, but it worked!!!
We live in Florida, and were having an absolutely horrible problem with fleas. It took three times of sprinkling the powder everywhere, leaving it for a week, and then vacuuming it up before trying again. But it did work, and I highly recommend it to anyone having flea issues. Nothing else I tried even made a dent in the flea population, but we've been flea-free for six months now and I still have 3/4 of the bag left!

Meh
The provided applicator leaks and makes a mess. Also isn't very ergonomic, it's annoying to use.I got this because of the Mark Rober video on bug killers. But, this powder doesn't seem to do anything. In fact, found some baby roaches hiding out with it under a bookshelf. A lighter and kindling seems to do the job better.Three stars bc the cost/product ratio is plenty good enough to try out different application methods throughout an entire house. And, maybe it works for other kinds of bugs, idk.

Great price
Good price for the amount, I appreciate the sprayer that comes with it. Honestly I buy it cause it's the best deal here. It works. I use to when the dogs flea meds stop working and some sneak in the house. Ants, fleas , crawling insects are decimated by this stuff and it's non toxic. So yea - grab a bag and kill some bugs
