If you're using a budget router, or the one that may be provided by your ISP, your signal is probably pretty weak. That's where this budget range extender comes in. It will increase the range of your weak 2.4g signal quite well. However, if you are using any kind of upgraded (more expensive and stronger) router, this range extender won't help that much. The signal from your upgraded router will probably be as strong or stronger and reach just as far, with this device halfway between you and your router. For example, if your router will reach 50 feet, and you place this extender 25 feet from the router, the signal from each will be about the same, at 25 feet from the extender. Overall, this is a great 'budget' range extender, when used with your basic, low power routers.

The model device is in kitchen in my house, and far away from my bedroom, so I had very bad connection every night. I've tried two extenders already, and this one is the best one. Easy to set up, just follow the instruction step by step, it has pictures on. I tested the speed of internet before and after I connected with extender, before was 1.0 Mbps, after is 11Mbps. i was shocked and surprised, because it's really helpful to me. I feel like I put another device in the middle of my house. Highly recommend it!

This extender was a bit difficult to set up but I finally was able to get it connected. It does come with step by step instructions. It definitely helped my Internet connection in my bedroom which is quite a bit of distance from my router. I def would recommend this item to those who need a boost to their Internet connection.

I have bought a couple of products of Aigital, and they turned out to be superior quality and reliable. WiFi repeater is giving out good signals and extended my home wifi range to all areas. It was easy to setup with WPS with just one click, no need to configure again even moving around different sockets. I have not noticed any bandwidth degrading as talked on the internet about repeaters and I use the ethernet to my desktop over wifi.note: it's not dual-band and not wifi ac . So not for people who are looking for the latest devices but in its category it works perfectly.

got weak wifi connection on my 2nd floor far corner location. originally thinking to buy another brand with only wifi extender mode. But see this with AP mode which allow me utilize my old powerline network adapter which provide a wireline access point. the speed come out powerline adaptor is about 30Mbps, the signal from wireless connection from this access point is about 20Mbps, little bit degraded, but still fine to watch youtube videos. the best part is I have strong wifi signal on 2nd floor. Did try the extender only mode, the speed is not that good, so I will stick with AP mode.

I totally didn't realize this was 2.4GHz only instead of 5instructions were ok, could have been clearermodule seems to get a bit warmI didn't see a difference in signal

First off the instructions fail to mention that you must connect to the unit then you can follow the instructions. I was trying to strengthen signal to the upstairs bedrooms at the end of the house...I placed the unit between my router and where i wanted a stronger signal...It may...have increased the bar from 1 to 2 bars...maybe...and cut my wifi speed in half. I placed it next to my router and got the same speed results...

I am having difficult time getting this to work. I think all I have to do is plug it into a wall outlet at the other end of the house. The lights work on it...but can’t get it to work as extender 100 feet to area we want it to extend to. Maybe there are some better instructions? Do you have to plug into a computer? This is wireless. Right now I don’t use it as it doesn’t make a difference. Maybe someone can advise.
