Surprised by the improvement in sound quality and ease of use.
I never imagined that my rig would sound better by using these plugs. The plugs are well finished and surprisingly easy to set up and use. Of course, they make it ever so easy to plug into an amp / receiver and stereo speakers. The bonus is the sound improvement. It improves the sound quality in a way that is appreciable. Not at the level of a quality DAC, still appreciably better sound.

Make your own speaker wires with banana plug ends
The description says max of 12 gauge wire but I always try to use the largest wire so I used 10 gauge. These work well. The set screws are pretty tiny and it's very very important to get the right size screwdriver head that perfectly fits in the screw slot. You don't want too large, or too small. And for 10 gauge you need to tighten them hard or the finishing sleeves won't screw on. But the end result is a fairly robust speaker cable with easy to insert banana plugs. Don't forget that every speaker cable will need two pairs (four banana plugs for each speaker wire). so a package of 12 makes 3 speaker wires. Package of 12 comes with two extra set screws.

Decent for the money, but buy extras
Out of one pack I had two plugs that had bad threading either on the plug part or the barrel. The threads would not engage no matter how I twisted and turned. The rest were fine. I had to purchase a 2nd box to make up for the pair that were damaged. Not worth returning it as I'd have to undo all the connections I had already made. They are a good fit in the speaker terminals of my Denon home theater receiver. Not too loose nor too tight. Just right. I do like the double-setscrew design to hold the wire in the plug and that the screw on cover extends just a little bit beyond the end of the plug so that if you stripped a little too much insulation off the wire, the barrel both hides it and protects it from shorting.

Nice plugs for your cables. Well made. Easy to use.
So yeah, I've never used connectors of any kind for my speaker wires. I've always just stuck the bare wire in there and clamped down. I recently started watching YouTube videos about HiFi stuff so had to get new speakers along with new speaker cables and these banana plugs. I can't believe I went my whole life never using these things. They're amazingly easy to use and seem to help with signal transfer. I had the new speakers connected for a couple days with old, thin wire. New cables along with these connectors made a big difference in the way my speakers sound. These banana plugs are well made and easy to install. I like that they have two screw to ensure that the wire is extra secure inside the plug.

Fantastic Banana Plugs
I have refused to buy expensive banana plugs but you get what you pay for. A lot of the ones I've tried were frustrating. Screws would strip / terrible design / plugs loose in speakers and amps.I made new cables for my living room stereo and these are by far the best cheap banana plugs I've ever used. The screws hold on really really tight without stripping, they look really good, and the plugs I had to push with some force to get into the speakers and amps. They are really tight and secure when plugged in which has always been an issue for me.Unless my income level drastically changes where I'm throwing away money on ridiculously expensive plugs, I will be buying these exclusively from now on.
