He also places an importance about how a writer's reading choices impacts his writing. From the genre of writing to tips on how the characters should be, from the importance of notes to the stumbling blocks in the writing process, there is a definitive structure in the book. That is something that made reading even more systematic and easy for me.📝I found the book very informative since I too love to write at times and the to top it all, sir has recommended a three page list of books which I'm going to treasure. There are ample of quotes upon writing by Mr. Bond that will make many writers and beginners be able to relate. While there's no one who is to teach you to write actually, this book makes sure you know all there's to know about writing.🍁In short, it's a informative, well structured and a short read about writing and the books he recommends. This book isn't only for writers, it's for readers too.

You might already know the pointers written in these pages, but hey, it’s Ruskin Bond telling you these things this time around, so you might take them more seriously and even implement them.If you’re looking for some secret formula that’ll really make a difference and aid you substantially, you won’t find it here.The design aspects in this book are interesting - specifically the postcard touch at the end. Also, the arms on the cover look a tad odd, as if they’ve had a botched hair transplant.

I'm a fan of Ruskin Bond and this book gives us some idea of his approach to writing and how for him writing is a professional he loves and enjoys. It's concise could be read in ine sitting also it has book recommendations from Ruskin Bond himself. So I'm going to read those books next.
