DoproPack of 4 Bass Pickup Height Foam Pickup Height Adjustment Pads with Springs for P Bass or Jaquar Pickups

Used them in my direct mount ibanez RG920 PERINEUM I replaced the stock pickup s with the nita strauss pandemonium pickups they worked great to ajust pickup hight

I just installed a couple of these on an older Ibanez bass whose original pads had rotted and worn out. Installation is simple, and the pickups no longer rattle around. I have another Ibanez whose pads I replaced with foam weatherstripping, because I didn't know kits like this were available. Next string change, I'll replace the DIY foam with a set of these pads.

I was putting together a custom Fender Precision from genuine parts and found the under-pickup foam pad supplied with the Fender pickup was not tall enough to raise the pickup to the correct height.These Dopro pads are perfect. Just the right size.

I put these in an early 90s Japanese Jazz bass that had some old, flattened foam behind the pickups.These pads are small, but worked well after I cut them in half. One half (with spring) near each end of the pickup. I attached to the grounded metal plate that sits under the pickup, replacing the original foam. The new foam sits between the bottom of the cavity and the plate; the pickup sits on the plate.The foam / spring package is pretty dense. It takes a lot of force to compress it.I'd give more stars if they included more foam in different thicknesses. For what they charge, we could reasonably expect this.

Pads are springier and easily trimmed, if needed.Included springs are more heavy duty.

Used this numerous times and it’s easy to use whether you apply as is or cut up into pieces depending on your installation

Good fit on my P Bass, did a decent job

Expected a bit better quality for the price though. Good fit, but does not cover the whole pick-up length for a jazz bass.
