Metra 99-3018HG 1 or 2 DIN Dash Kit for 2008-2015 Cadillac CTS

[EDIT] Jan 13, 2022: we're 5-1/2yrs in and every part of this kit is still working flawlessly.----------coming up on two years of use, and still looks like new. perfect fitment when installed and install instructions were clear and detailed.only complaint would be the trim piece that goes in place of where the Nav screen would rise, should have an option for factory matched leather from Metra. since it didn't i decided to disassemble the factory Nav screen, and harvested the leather wrapped top trim piece from it and found a way to mount it in place of the Metra piece

Finally a kit came out for the CTS-V. Works great, hvac controls and everything, still runs off the stock Bose amplifier perfectly. The installation was pretty straight forward until you have to initialize the interface for the first time, just makes sure you fallow the instructions word for word. After updating the interface it worked right away and haven't had a problem since. Highly recommend and it's your only option if you want to go aftermarket. If you do need to call Metra they are great to work with and guide you step by step to help remedy the problem if one should occur. 👍

It looks and fits just right. The wiring harness is the right one and easy to connect to the radio.

Every Since I added this in my car my ac be acting up has anyone had this problem

A bit pricey but fits nicely and all you need is the steering wheel module. Do not get the pac version for steering wheel controls, get the Metra version.

Purchased for 2012 CTS-V Coupe w/Nav - Also purchased ASWC-1 and this kit is prewired for it.1. I. HATE. GM. AND. BOSE. - everything is so integrated and communicates over the CAN bus. The AXXESS box has to replicate a ton of functions and generates a good bit of bus traffic. This can interfere with SOME CAN devices as a result.2. You will not have the ability to fade all the rear with this kit. All 4 speakers WILL WORK with F/R centered. Nature of the beast.3. If you want the sub to work follow the instructions.4. You can wire up the USB in the console as well as the AUX. You will need a USB donor cable and patience. The AUX uses an available deck input. Simply plug it in.5. Your stock backup camera can be made to work too. Order a 1ft RCA pigtail and use pins 5 and 15 off the X4 connector.6. Be prepared to fight the ASWC-1. For a LONG time.7. When you go to initialize the interface...FOLLOW. THE. INSTRUCTIONS. TO. THE. LETTER.
