Nice upgrade from stock GMC speakers
If you are looking for a good affordable replacement for stock speakers, this may be your solution. With that said, I am no audiophile, or expert on car audio. I installed these in a 98 Sierra single cab truck, and I am very pleased with how crisp the sound is, and the volume that they handle without distortion. FYI, I am using the stock radio with these speakers, therfore results may be different with another head unit. I am going to use this brand for the door speakers due to my experience with these.

Doesn't fit 88 tob94 chevy
Do that mount in the hole yes! Driver side front speaker has to be forced to fit because it contacts ac ductwork but it will go in I had to modify the factory grill to make them work also plan on buying a 4x6 grill to go over the hole I madeSpeakers are loud super loud and sound amazing!Very high quality for the price!

Sound is good for the price. A good value stock replacement speakers. A big improvement over the 25 year old stock speakers in this car.
