In The Swim pH Increaser for Pools - Granular 100% Sodium Carbonate (Soda Ash) to Raise pH Up - 50 Pounds

I read reviews saying this didn't come in a bucket or wasn't as listed. My order came in a large bucket with easy to open lid and the granules were encased in a plastic bag inside the bucket. This was the best deal available on line at the time and is good quality soda ash.The granules are very small, similar to powdered laundry detergent, and they dissolve rather easily. I find using warm or hot water to mix and pre-dissolve it works best. Then you can pour it in your pool or water tank.I use this to raise the PH of my well water before it goes thru my filtration system. This is the exact same product that is marketed specifically for that use, except this is cheaper and comes in a sturdy reusable plastic bucket.This isn't the first 'In The Swim' product I've bought and won't be the last.

I probably added a little too much and the pool turned a little milky as the chemicals didn't fully dissolve for several days. The ph was where it needed to be by the time it cleared up. I rarely have to tweak the ph level in my pool so this isn't a product I use often.

This product is used to maintain the correct PH level in our swimming pool. It works as advertised and comes in a very handy bucket to keep the powder inside dry.

Product arrived in a cardboard box that seemed totally useless but the product itself was in perfect shape.

I routinely buy In The Swim chemicals because they are very competitive on pricing and the quantity provided is usually spot on with what is advertised. This pH raising sodium carbonate is another good product.
