Thyroid function had never been on my radar before. I’m 61/F, I had retired early two years ago, work had been physically active for 30 years, but I sat down for the lockdown and I suddenly aged 20 years. It sounds funny about my face but you really can get to a point where you feel like the undertaker is about to roll you into a box and have done with you. I had been eating lean meats, no sweets or bread, and yet without iodine and a functioning thyroid, you’ll have no strength to move a muscle. I love Wild Harvest Organic Supplements and that includes Kelp. I'm not a medical person, but It feels to me like a healthy form of Calcium that settles well in my stomach.

I started having thyroid problems about a year ago and the doctor put me on thyroid medication. I began taking the kelp with the doctors' approval. My thyroid is improving and I was reading about the lack of the proper amount of iodine in our diet can lead to cysts and even cancers to grow. Since I only use Himalayan pink salt which is purer and not iodized. I may not have been getting enough iodine in my diet.
