Its a thick and heavy frame with adjustable wire for hanging but I was hoping it would stand by itself. There's no flap at the back to make it stand. I'll have to prop it against the wall instead.

I was a bit hesitant considering to frame this print myself rather than taking it to the professionals for framing which could potentially increase the value of this print however, it wasn’t a budget friendly option so I decided to buy this frame and, I’m totally happy that I did as its a solid, well made frame that looks every bit as good as the prints I have had professionally framed in the past.*I especially appreciated the extra hangers & wires that was included as its my preference being that it makes it so much easier to hang the print.*What might have made this a 5+ rated product was if the seller also included a sized brown kraft paper cover to apply that would cover up the back & make it look exactly like it had been professionally framed.HIGHLY Recommended and will definitely be back to buy additional frames in the future if/when needed.

This frame was perfect for our family photo. The 12 by 8 picture fit perfectly with the matte. It came packaged up nicely. Just love it!
