I recently purchased one. Was anything in plastic packaging? The item I received looks a bit used...

Hi Tamara. We have been pulling our hair out trying to get to the bottom of this, but I think this explains it all. It's been a long 24 hours of back and forth talks with Amazon about this issue. Apparently, Amazon uses its discretion to determine if a customer return is considered "New" and "Sellable". That means that whatever Amazon employee receives the item back from another customer return decides... but they don't even have to open the box. A box can look in perfect condition and they put it back on the shelf (so to speak). We have had just 5 similar complaints in the last 1.5 months, so it's very rare. However, this truly bothered us because we only sell brand new items directly from our manufacturer.  Amazon does not have a solution for me (which is CRAZY).  I am so very sorry about this. I'm really glad you reached out. We have refunded your entire order and sent out a new wipe warmer to you. Please, accept our apology.

Is this big enough to hold adult wipes

Adult wipes, "All Purpose Personal Washcloths" from Kroger (7.9"X 12.5") will barely fit, if you remove the wipes from the package, and have them facing the same as when they were in the package. They'really too wide though. Also Tranquility Premium Protection Cleansing Wipes (9"X 13") won't fit at all. The inside dimensions of the Hiccapop are 7.75" L X 5" W X 3.5" D. You'll have to take a measuring tape to the store to find out what the dimensions are of the wipes, because that info isn't on the package: only the unfolded dimensions are displayed. Had some from Costco that fit, but they're no longer available at my local store. Hope this helps. This is a great product, though I wish they would make one designed for the largest adult wipes.

Do you have to take the wipes out of the plastic holder before you put it in the warmer?

I never take them out. I’ve been using this for 15 months. I just take the plastic lid off and have never had a problem. The Costco wipes are too big but the target brand wipes fit perfect

Can you leave the wipes in their package and put them in the warmer? Or do the wipes have to be taken out and put directly in the warmer?
