Ashley Productions Smart Poly Control Your Emotions Chart (ASH91096)

I have this posted in a corner, with a couple toys like the monkey noodle, silicone pop board, and a favorite stuffie. Sometimes my daughter will even put herself in the "cool down spot" and let me know when she feels green and get up to return to interaction. We discuss which feeling she sees on the chart to pair words to her emotions. if she doesn't want to tell me exactly which emotion, she can place herself in a color zone by looking at the kids faces. She will let me know if she feels blue or yellow (rare to admit a red lol). Sometimes she will want to discuss a few of the faces/emotions/feelings and after we talk them through she sits and plays with those few toys and studies the chart. I see her search for her feelings, regulate emotions, and it's a 2 pack so you can share 1 with daycare or put one in another area of the home! Our meltdowns have decreased because she feels heard. She can communicate how she feels even when words have escaped and only raw emotion remains.
