Bought this for my RV and it is perfect. It fits right above the door of the RV so I can hang an insulated curtain to block out the cold and heat when needed. I love that this curtain rod is so slim and not round as the round one wouldn't fit in the space I need to mount the brackets. These brackets are very slim and fit perfect in a small space where you wouldn't be able to mount a round rod holder. They are beautiful too and are very heavy duty so you don't have to worry about the weight of your curtains causing the rod to bow in the center of the rod. Of course this one is short because my door width in an RV is narrow so its not a problem either way, but we also purchased one to go across the width of the RV behind where the driver and passenger seats are so we could put a curtain behind our seats for the purpose of keeping the heat and air up in the front when we are traveling down the road. In an RV, beause it is so long and open it is difficult to keep the front warm or cool when driving it and just running the cab heat/air because it is trying to cool/heat the entire RV. By putting up one of these curtain rods across the width of the RV then we put an insulated curtain there and when its pulled across it helps to hold the heat or cold up in the front of the cab much better. I highly recommend these curtain rods. Once you click to add t to your cart then it will ask you for the exact measurements and they custom cut your rod to your specifications and they adjust it so that it will slide down into the wall anchors/rod holders. It fits perfect too. They also ship quickly and the rod comes well packaged so there is no damage done during the shipping process. The rod that is the width of the RV is very long and even with the weight of all those heavy curtains, it holds up very well and absolutely no bowing or bending. The custom cut solution is brilliant. I was able to install a hanging rack under a staircase with this unit very easily. Most of the work was locating the studs in the walls, then it was a simple job to drill so I could screw in the brackets. The custom-cut rod slotted in pretty easily.The rod was a little too short (my measurement mistake, not theirs) so I ordered a replacement rod. Very inexpensive and simple since I'd already done the work to mount the brackets.The hardware itself is high quality and looks good. [I got the brushed nickel]

I bought this January of 2023, it’s now April 2024 and I was switching out my winter and spring clothes so I thought I’d finally submit a review.My last closet rod came in two pieces and slanted down in the middle and looked like it was going to snap with my clothes on it, so I bought this. I triple checked my measurements before ordering and it came at exactly the right size.It took me less than an hour to install, and would’ve taken less time if I used powertools. I just had to make 2 small holes on each side of the closet. I hammered the rod holders into the wall and then the rod slid down smoothly but not loosely.There’s a slight dip, but I hang a lot of heavy clothes in my closet, and it doesn’t concern me at all. If it did, I’d just flip the rod upside down.

When I ordered this, I was asked to provide exact measurements of the space where the rod was to be installed. Using a Bosch laser measure (accurate to the 32nd of an inch) I gave that measurement. Instructions were to provide total space and the company would account for the brackets.Item arrived yesterday well packaged. Actually, a little overkill on the packaging lol. Brackets have two round pegs welded onto the back of each. This wasn’t a big deal as one of the brackets was being attached to drywall. The other, however, was going to be attached to 3/4” plywood. So basically, I had to drill a hole for the mounting screw and two additional holes for these pegs to fit into. Not a big issue, but, just required more holes.After the brackets were installed, the rod was about 1/4” too long. So, had to pull out my reciprocating saw to trim it. Cleaned up the edge with an angle grinder, and then was good to go. All in all, relatively simple (as long as you have the extra tools) install. It’s obviously designed to be attached to prefabricated surfaces with shelf peg holes pre-drilled. Those pegs would fit right into them. Other than those applications, I would recommend for drywall installations only, unless you’re prepared to accurately drill more holes for these pegs.
