If you are using an adapter from a 2" receiver to a 1.25" drawbar, the single adapter will not stop the rattles. You would have to use one adapter from the hitch receiver on the car/truck to the adapter and a second anti wobble from the adapter to the bicycle carrier. This assumes that the adapter comes out beyond the hitch receiver a couple of inches or so. If they are NOT extending back from the receiver (not protruding beyond the receiver a couple of inches) then the device would have to bear against the receiver and the 1.25" bicycle rack, a more difficult setup which might require an additional metal plate to allow pressure against the rack drawbar. I had a somewhat similar issue when I had to use an extension receiver to separate the trailer I was towing from a bicycle mounted to the front of the trailer to avoid damage to the bicycle (and car!) when turning, and had to use two anti rattle devices. I hope that this helps you. BTW the bent portion of the plate goes against the receiver and the flat portion goes against the drawbar. .Best wishes for a quiet ride.

The OD of the black plate is 5-1/32".

Dear, all the hardware stainless steel except the black plate and the nuts. we have tested them before and found that the nuts can not be unscrew if the nuts are stainless steel since they will be stuck with the u-bolt. So we have updated the nuts. problem solved and it works well after updating the nuts.

Can you be a bit more specific? 13081 can fit many vehicles. It works on 2" hitches your specific question can't be answered correctly with out knowing make and modle the hitch is on.
