Soo Ae Han Bang Green Tea Collagen Mask, 5 Count

I got a bunch of Soo Ae masks on a flash sale site some time back and I finally got around to trying them. And they are pretty awesome. It was a risk, going with multiples of a brand that was new to me, but it paid off! The green tea ones are the latest ones I've used.The fabric is flexible and fits my face well; there is even a little to tuck under my chin. Once in place, it stayed in place, even though I was sitting up while I wore it. The little strip that goes between your mouth and nose stays in place, too! This was pretty easy to unfold and didn't rip or tear.Serum level was about average; this was neither too dry nor too wet. After use, I rubbed the serum into my skin and it didn't take too long to absorb. It also didn't leave any sticky or oily residue. And it did not interfere with the subsequent application of any other skincare or makeup products (e.g., facial oil, serum, moisturizer, sunscreen, primer, liquid foundation, concealer, finishing powder).I really like the ingredients. Green tea is just full of antioxidants, which help fight free radical damage. So this would be good after sun exposure (although I used it in the morning, before work). Collagen is good for temporary firming as well as moisturizing. It is too big of a molecule to actually penetrate the skin, but it holds onto moisture and keeps it at the surface of the skin, which can have a plumping effect. (Please note that collagen can *only* come from animal sources, so this is not a vegan product. But it is never a good idea to assume that K-beauty products are vegan; some brands are, but most aren't.)You can see the full ingredients list if you scroll down on the product page. Also of note: witch hazel (which has a toning effect), niacinamide (which can reduce redness and even skin tone), sodium hyaluronate (which moisturizes/plumps in a similar way to collagen), and allantoin (which soothes rough skin). So this is a good general-purpose mask, as well. Although fragrance is on the list, I really did not think this had a strong scent at all (which is my preference for facial skincare).This was definitely moisturizing and soothing. I felt the toning benefits from the witch hazel, as well. It's hard to tell if the antioxidants are working (the whole idea is, if they are doing their job and preventing sun damage and such, your skin won't change!) but I do like that they're there. Very glad I have a whole package of these to use!
