Q: does this mouse go into rainbow puke when you activate the screen lock on windows?

Lol rainbow puke! On Windows 11 it holds whatever the active login setting was for me.

Q: why would you purchase the puck outside of charging on dock?

The puck can be charged using almost any type of wireless charger. The Razer specific dock is only necessary if you don't have a wireless charger or like the magnetic feature that holds the mouse in place.

Q: does it work with macbook alone? like do you need the software on the pc to make it work or can it work on its own?

It works on every device unless it has a USB 3.0 port

Since this mouse has the hyperscroll can you remap scroll wheel up and down? I know you can’t do it in Ghub software with g502.

Its a beefy mouse with a great lightshow.

I don't see why anyone would need all that DPI, but it's there anyway. The RGB Lighting is a nice feature and it makes your gaming setup that much cooler. The mouse itself is awesome, The ergonomics are great, and it fights my hands perfectly for long periods of time.
