Master Power Window Switch for Buick Century Regal 1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 Driver Side 10433029 19244641

I broke the lockout switch on my old power window switch, and knew I had a spare somewhere, but couldn't find it. When I got the switch, I immediately installed it and tried it out. The driver's side and both rear windows worked perfectly, but the passenger side window wouldn't open. Before sending it back, I wanted to make sure that it was the switch that wasn't working, as my car is 20 years old. I finally found my spare switch (still in its original box in the trunk), and installed it. That switch worked, so I knew it was the new switch that had the problem. Soon after notifying the seller that the item didn't work and I would like a replacement, I received an email stating that my item had shipped. I received the replacement 2 days later, installed it, and it's been working perfectly ever since. Besides the ease of installation, I like the red lights on the switch. They are easier to see, and I'll always know when the switch is getting power. The controls work smoothly, and the buttons are nice and tight. Great customer service like this is not always easy to come by, especially with electronic parts. BRTEC Auto Parts is my new go to!

Bought in January 2021, the switch died in July 2022. I barely used my car during that time, only a few thousand miles. Light was orange, not the OEM green. Auto-down feature did not work. I went to a junkyard and got an OEM GM switch to replace it.

Thus switch worked extremely well and I'm able to use my window now!p

Overall, the product works. Reading other reviews, im not sure for how long. It was a very easy installation and all windows functioning. However, the auto down does not work. On the OEM switch, you can feel a second indication for the Auto functioning. On this switch you one feel one indication for down and not two on the OEM switch. Also, the back light is RED, and not white like the OEM. This is not mentioned in the product description. Id recommend adding that detail. The LOCK windows feature works in reverse than the OEM. The windows should be locked with the switch down on the side that says Lock, but on this one its the blank side that locks.Other than that it seems to be well built and easy to install.

This switch only worked for like 4 months before it would only allow me to roll a window down and not back up. Since it happened in the colder months, this is very disappointing. Not worth the money to buy.
