This worked out great for planning my large flower garden bed! The little poles are made of thick straws. I had them up for several weeks until I was sure to plant and the plants started coming up. They held up in rain, wind, and overhead irrigation. I will be able to use these for several seasons for planning but I wouldn't say they could last a full season in the sun etc and keep their color.

There was a little looseness to the stitching on the flags here and there, contributing to them slipping down easily. Otherwise the quality of these flags is good, and you really do get 3 of each color. Great deal.

My two year old son LOVES flags, but most out there are dangerous and pointy. We love these! The handle is similar to a straw material and the tops are nice since they are completely round. The value is great since so many come in a pack. The sticks do bend, but we love them! There are so many that if one gets lost or broken, there are many more. Definitely recommend!
