Q: What is the total weight of the 1 person? (Tent body, poles, stakes, rain fly)

My tent I received (tent, poles, stakes, etc.) 7/17/2022 weighed 4.2 lbs, 1/2 lb more than advertised.

Q: If bigfoot is nearby will the tent keep him from stealing your food?

No it won't. If camping in Australia it is advised not to keep food in your tent at all. We have white tailed rats that will chew a hole in your tent to get in and steel your food. Here National parks often put up metal poles with hooks to hang your food bags on. The rats, possums etc can't climb up the poles to get to your food. Best not to keep food in your tent at all. Without these structures there are ways to hang up your food outside so animals can't get to it.

Q: How does this tent do in hot weather? live in texas and need it for summer camping (120+ degrees)

Having spent 2006-2007 in Iraq in 120+ temps, I can assure you that no piece of nylon is going to protect you from that kind of heat. If you can shade it during the day with a camo net or in trees that will keep it cooler. At night without the fly it would probably be quite comfortable or even cool. I've used it in Yosemite in the summer, days to about 85, nights to about 60. With the fly on it makes a huge difference whether all the vents are open and the flaps pulled out vs. everything closed down tight which can get a little stuffy. Hope this helps!

Q: Will this work to keep you warm for winter 20 degrees and plus windy?

It's fine with the right sleep system. A taught pitch will keep the sides from flapping too much. Open the vents to reduce condensation. It's not really a winter tent as it is mostly mesh. If 20 degree camping is normal for you, less mesh may be better. I've never camped below 25 in this tent.
