Don't depend on this!
It worked at first, seemed like a great space saver. Then right when I was out of town and needed my lap top it just stopped working, at exactly the worst time. Less than a week after I received the adapter! It wouldn't charge my surface pro even with an anker 100 watt power adapter and USB c cord. Absolutely trash.

Easy to use
I like the fact that they make it easier to replace cords with these rather than having to replace a one piece charger and cord. Haven't had them long enough to rate the durability.

This doesn't work
First of all my first shipment ordered was never delivered. The replacement I was promised was never delivered. I ordered again because I really wanted this item. It is supposed to replace the power cable that comes with the surface pro, which is cumbersome and unwieldy. So I finally got the order on the 3rd try and inserted it to USB-C cable then plugged it into power port of my surface pro. As far as I could see it lit up and was charging. However after leaving it to charge my surface over night my surfaces battery was flashing "empty battery" icon on my screen. Despite leaving it to charge for several hours it never charged my surface pro. Sadly I cannot send it back because the return window has closed.It never did work as it should have.

Great space saver. Orientation of adapter matters.
I often have multiple devices in need of charging and wanted a universal system I could carry as backup if any of my primary chargers failed. This allows me to add a backup Surface charger while taking up minimal space in my laptop bag. Due to its size I can only use it with the USB-C end up. I was puzzled that there was no indicator light on one of the two adapters although both showed battery was charging. USB-C connectors should work without front or back orientation but here I plugged in the cable after turning it around and voila, light on. I've marked both adapters and cables so I can mate them properly.
