Simple, affordable, and it just works!
The media could not be loaded. Installation: Very easy to install. After trying several similar adapters, this was the cheapest one that actually worked for me. Just screw in the M.2 SSD and plug the card into the PCIe slot no drivers or complicated setup needed. True plug-and-play.Speed: Supports full PCIe 3.0/4.0 x4 speeds without issues. I connected a 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD and it runs at top speed with no bottlenecks.Functionality: Straightforward and reliable. Recognized instantly by the system with no fuss. The included aluminum heatsink helps keep the drive cool under load.Build Quality: Solid build with a good aluminum heatsink that feels sturdy. It gives some peace of mind for thermal management compared to bare adapters.Value for Money: Excellent value for a budget adapter that includes a heatsink. You get quality and performance without spending too much.Fit: Compatible with standard M.2 sizes and works fine in PCIe x4, x8, and x16 slots. The M.2 2280 I installed fits perfectly and stays secure.Summary: Not a flashy product, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to at a great price. If you want a simple, no-hassle PCIe adapter with cooling, this is a solid choice.

Solid NVMe Adapter – Ideal for Breathing Life into Legacy Systems
Used this adapter to install a 480gb nvme as the primary boot drive in a Dell Precision 5810 via a PCIe x16 slot. No BIOS mods or tweaks needed—the drive was instantly recognized and bootable after a clean Windows install.Build quality is excellent. The PCB is clean, and the included aluminum heatsink makes solid contact with the SSD thanks to the thermal pad. Temps stay in check even under sustained read/write loads.Tested with both PCIe 3.0 and 4.0 drives—bandwidth is fully utilized depending on the slot and drive specs. Great for anyone retrofitting an older workstation with NVMe performance. Zero issues, plug-and-play, and the performance uplift is night and day.Highly recommend for enthusiasts upgrading older platforms.

Good with cheap quality
Works with samsung 990 evo plus ssd. I use PCIE 3 and I had very little issue installing. The screws were quite awful and the build quality is cheap though. You get what you pay for.

Compact and easy to assemble and use.
I bought this as a replacement to two different Sabrent M.2 to PCIe adapters and will never buy another Sabrent product. This is FAR easier to assemble, works flawlessly, and is nice and compact. Two small things to note for future buyers. If you use an M.2 SSD that is NOT 2280 sized, you need to unscrew the "spare bolt" from the left side of the card and screw that bold in to the hole for the size of the SSD you will be using. This wasn't super clear in the instructions. Also, the spring loaded screws seem a bit too big to fit through the heatsink holes. I had to use the two other plastic screws and the plastic nuts. Not really an issue per se, just kinda strange.

Check your motherboard
Quick to set up and works right away!Side note: please dont make my mistake and (what I assume is other's as well), dont just expect max speed.Check your motherboard specs.Just because it has a PCIE 4.0 size lane does not mean it will run at those speeds. I have a Gigabyte B550 UD AC rev 1.2 that has 4 extra PCIE 4.0 expansion slots but they only support 3.0 Speeds and even that gets nailed to using 3.0x1 which is pretty much only making use of 1 pin. This dramtically affects your speeds. If you needs full speeds upgrade you motherboard or just stick to replacing your older SSD in an NVME M.2 slot in your mother board. For Gaming storage, this will still work just fine to expand storage with no noticable quality drop or extended loading times in my experience.

Great adapter and value
No issues assembling and it worked just like it states. Used a new m.2 western digital 1tb stick. Installed in server used by Unraid as a cache drive. No problems.

Works great.
I'm using this in my Dual Xeon Proxmox Server as an OS drive and it works excellent. I wanted the OS seperated and didn't really care about super fast speeds. Its still very fast though.
