I bought this for my daughter as a baby shower gift after just giving one to my other daughter as a baby shower gift. They absolutely love them. Memories for a long time so money that keeps on giving.

I ordered these Monthly Milestone Blocks in the Gray so that they'd be gender-neutral. They're nicely-sized, and they're made of solid, sturdy wood. They're very cute photo props for milestone sessions...BUT the finish on them is a little rough. Some of the blocks I received have very rough wood and could have used some sanding before being painted , and a couple of the edges have cracks / splinters that were painted over.They do include a very cute drawstring storage bag, but I worry about the blocks rubbing against each other in the bag and scuffing the blocks, so I'll probably just hold on to the box to store them.Overall they're very cute, but for the current price of $34.99 for the set I would have liked to see a little nicer finish.

These blocks are a great way to obtain continuity in photos of your kiddos over the months/years. The blocks themselves are sturdy, and the words are elegantly written. Kids will even love stacking them when they're not being used in photos! They come with a canvas drawstring storage bag that keeps them organized when they're not in use at all.The first thing you'll notice when you take these out of the box is a strong smell of nail polish; it goes away after several minutes, but it's noticable at first. There is also a big warning in the box not to let your kiddos munch on the blocks, so just be warned when using these around littles. The blocks are also handmade, which means there are imperfections in the wood (which can be endearing to some/annoying to others). Accompanying the blocks is a guide that states the size of the blocks (in only 2 dimensions), along with the things printed on each side. Two blocks are twice the length of the other 4, so it would be nice to have the full 3D dimensions to identify those.Overall, these are cute, sturdy, stackable, and useful for every age and stage in a child's life, particularly those who celebrate Easter, Halloween, Christmas, and Thanksgiving.

Wished I had these when my baby was born so that all my photos can consistently have the same milestone blocks. Love that this includes events as well as all the numbers. It's not just for babies. Works for grandparents too.Blocks are sturdy and well made. Made of sustainable pine wood, non toxic paint and rounded edges. The initial unwrap was pretty wow...and then what's that smell. There is some sort of lacquer smell and that goes away after airing for an hr or so. Highly recommend this as a baby shower gift. Very useful!
