These are nice pens
I've always liked these pens whether I writer or sketch with them. They last a long time. They are a good value for the cost. Ink flow is very good. No complaints....yet.

Bic has corrected the old time problem of smudges. These are great pens to have around the house.

Finer lines than the Xtra Bold pens but still smooth
I normally prefer Xtra Bold pens (I bear down hard when I write and I love the smooth writing flow, the bold ink color, and the price), but sometimes you need to write smaller/neater, and these are great for that. You can't bear down as hard on these without them being scratchy, and the ink color is lighter, but they do offer a similar smooth writing flow and a great price point.Side note, I have blue Xtra Bold and these blue Xtra Smooth, but I don't get them confused because they have different colored caps and ends. The Xtra Smooth ones are a lighter, more typical blue, and the Xrta Bold ones have a darker blue. A little touch I really appreciate when I'm reaching for the right pen for the project I'm working on.

Great pen for kids:- slim to fit in small hands- no distracting toggle clicker- doesn't roll like some other pens - nice bold lines

The original legend
These pens rock. Bic has not changed the quality since they first introduced this pen. Remarkably functional, no big deal if you lose one, and they are comfortable and familiar to write with. I love that they don't roll off your desk thanks to the hexagon shape.My only wish is that they offered a pack with 0.5mm tip and clear body, similar to these.The blue ink is rich and familiar.
