Q: How wide are the cookie cutters?

They are actually pretty big. They make very large cookies. The cat is 2.5 x 4, the hat is 4 x 3 (4 is at the widest part which is the base of the witches hat), the pumpkin is 3 x 3, the ghost is 2.5 x 4, and the bat is 5 x 1.5. I measured this by the largest points. I hope this helps.

Hello here is an excerpt from Ann Clarks cookie cutters website: Ann Clark's tin-plated steel cookie cutters are NOT dishwasher safe! To clean and prevent rust, hand wash and dry immediately. Handy Drying Tip For Preventing Rust Wash your cookie cutters and baking sheet(s) immediately after baking. AFTER turning off your oven, place the cookie cutter(s) on the washed cookie sheet and place in the cooling oven. Let the remaining warmth of the oven dry your cookie sheet(s) and cutter(s). This tip can also apply to other kitchen items made of tin plated steel including decorating tips and spring foam pans. hope this helps! Online Family

Q: Can I use this to make pancakes and eggs?

I never tried. Keep in mind, both are fluid and not the texture of cookie dough. I would imagine the fluid would run under the cutter to become a mess.

Q: Is the "made in usa" on the side of each cookie cutter painted on or a sticker? If it is a sticker is it easily removed without residue?

I don’t remember a sticker on the cutter, the bag they come in claims to be made in the USA.

The order arrived quickly, and I love them!

I was making Halloween cookies with my grandsons and couldn't find my Halloween cookie cutters, so we just made circles decorated as pumpkins. Then I found these on Amazon and ordered them, and they arrived within the week, so we will be making Halloween cookies again this weekend. These are much better than the ones I misplaced. They're nice and big and I love the shapes!

I like that this kit included the halloween colors along with the cookie cutters. Well made with good detail that is not so small dough will get caught and stick into the cutter. For me the pumpkin cutter is the 4" size and a little big for me so I will be ordering the 3" cutter also.
