The Amazon Description by the seller did not properly portray the Laptop Model number.
The description for this replacement coaxial power jack described a vague chassis series number for the Dell Inspiron laptop. When inputting my correct Dell Inspiron model number from the tag on the bottom of the laptop, 3 options appeared for a replacement coaxial power jack with harness. When received this power jack with harness was 1.5 inches shorter than the original and did not have the correct chassis mount for this model of laptop. Obviously it was the wrong item that was shipped. Image shows that this item was not the correct replacement as advertised.I think in the future, Sellers should ensure that the data is correct in their descriptions of the products sold on Amazon. Especially when it involves parts for computers.I had to reorder the correct part from another Amazon seller. This problem has cost me time and credibility with my Computer Repair client and possibly future jobs from this client.
