I have seen negative reviews concerning the inability to open the battery compartment. I also initially ignored the small black tab in front of the battery compartment. For anyone else who had that problem, all you have to do is depress the little black tab to open the compartment. Problem solved and I am enjoying my dvd/cd player.

Easy size to store in my truck while traveling. I'm using this for when I have people traveling with me, so it makes the time go by faster ! Trips to Vegas will be more fun for them

This video player is perfect for my disabled daughter. It’s compact and very portable. My favorite feature is the handle, not just for the portability, but it allows me to hang it off a hook inside my car. For us that’s a lifesaver. I can also carry it into a restaurant or any location where I need to provide her with her own personal entertainment. The picture is clean. It’s been dropped many times, but still works just fine. The battery works at least two hours. I’ve had my first one for at least six months and I’m buying a second one to specifically keep in the our car for trips. The screen is fairly small, but for us, that’s not an issue. I’ve had at least 12 different portable DVD players in the last 10 years and most of them are pretty fragile. This is by far the best design.

Its a good product the screen is good and the DVD's has you play has very good colors on film and its light weight and easy to carry and one small note the volume works good it doesn't play it extremely loud but, it works well and I used it on the plane and it was wonderful.

It plays great!!! But it has a volume control that is set so low as the max that my 65 yo ears can barely hear it. So I gave it away and bought a different DBPower portable unit and the volume max is great for me!

It was what she wanted.
