My phone only charges through MagSafe; the lightning port is "glitchy". Moreover the existing USB-A ports in my cars do not deliver sufficient power (the battery % sometimes even goes down during a long drive with the maps app on). So I wanted the solution that would give me 15W charging.I had a newer "bullet-shaped" 12V car charger that would deliver 15W (or more) of charging power. However in one of my cars, the 12V port placement is such that the 12V charger was a bit longer than I'd liked. With standard straight USB-C cable connectors, it would stick out too far and and interfere with my right hand while shifting gears, which is mildly annoying. (See also: First World Problem.)I then found this set of low-profile / shallow-depth 12V car chargers. and decided to try it. I'm so glad I did, this helped tremendously to solve my problem. It's about half the length of the "bullet-shaped" charger, and doesn't stick out nearly as far. Even with a straight USB-C cable it took away most, if not all, of the physical interference. (I paired it with a 90-degree USB-C cable for a nearly ideal solution.)I also appreciate that it came in a 2-pack; it's a good value and I can either use the 2nd one in my other car, or keep with me for traveling if I rent a car, or even gift to someone. Note that this set does NOT come with cables; not a big deal for me as I'd already bought some cables and wanted to pair it with a specific cable.

Before buying this, make sure it’s compatible with the output of your car. The standard cigarette plug (car plug) is around 12 volts which works with these chargers. Personally, my plug can go up to 120 v which is a lot and wayyy too much for what I need. Enough to power a laptop! Trust me, you don’t need all of that for charging your phone (also it can be damaging). This charger will charge your phone and quick. Many times I’ve been the friend with low battery and one time my phone died on the highway when it was plugged in and I was using it for Google maps, this charger has really been there for me in a pinch since. I’ve left the house with 5% and ended a 30 minute drive with well over 35% (could be more, I will check and edit this review) which is much more than I’ve gotten with other chargers (like 15-20%). Also the two different ports are very convenient. Also make sure that if you do buy this product, you buy a cable that is compatible with it. In my case just for the USB C side, the combination of this charger and the KIYODA USB C type cable (2pck) works solid for me. It’s not crazy fast at charging but it’s fast. As far as durability, I’ve had this charger since last summer 2024 and it’s still going.

Nice and small - I could close the ashtray in which the cigarette lighter lives. However, it's not the smallest and sticks out about 3 or 4 mm. The LED lights up when it detects power (though you can't see the light if the cable is plugged in. The USB A and USB C charge at rapid rate (my other adapter did rapid charge only via USB A) This adapter may be a tight fit in some 12 V cigarette outlets in fact i initially thought it simply would NOT fit in an Renault even with hard pushing. Finally i saw that the car socket expected a more tapered nose and i pushed extra hard and it inserted. At least it won't wiggle loose. However, in a more modern car it fit more easily. This has no pull ring to pull out like some adapters, but it sticks out just enough to make it easy enough to grip

Really don't know yet haven't drove far. But so far look like it don't charge fast...I'm using on my new samsung S20 phone...please give me feed back company who made is it good for nt phone

These USB (both A and C) adapters are of impressive quality with an actual metal housing, so right off the bat we're off to a great start! They fit snugly in the lighter/accessory port on my vehicles and connect without having to wiggle or spin them like some lesser quality products. I have found charging current / speed to be quick and effective but without overheating the phone battery / case based on simple touch test.No regrets with this purchase--I am very happy with them and would recommend to friends or family.

I wanted adapters for both my car back seat and boat. This set of two was perfect. So far they have worked well in both locations. I especially like being able to keep my phone and speaker charged when we are on the water all day.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I like it’s very flat fit, and it blends well vs the one i had for my previous iPhone. Color:It’s good to have a black that matches the inside of the car.
