Just like I wanted! Although the plastic wrapping on the antenna was not heat shrunk in spots so I had to finish that for them, otherwise it's a great item, my whole neighborhood watch has gone to these.

This antenna was in a package that was taped up and slightly worn. It was clearly a package that had been previously returned. Never a good sign!I have several combinations of coaxial cable and adapters with which to experiment, but alas only two antennas: the stock rubber duck, and this one. The stock rubber ducks provided with most radios are notoriously barely adequate, yet the one I have grossly outperforms this antenna. Even just a few adapters or a length of coax allowed my receiver to pick up a local television station's producer's backstage transmitter where this antenna got nothing. The only thing I ever received with this antenna was a local repeater that was always quite string on the ducky by very staticky on this whip.In short, this purchase was simply not worth the time lost or effort expended.
