Q: Can you clean them in the dishwasher?

They would be too big for a dishwasher.

Q: Can they be stacked to build up shower floor to make wheelchair accessible

Probably, we made a single line for each side of our vehicle in a carport for rain water. They are not real thick but a layer or two or maybe even 3 should work

Q: Would these be good in large boat engine room ?

Yes I’d say , I use them in my boats transom area where I don’t want some things scratching my nonskid , they lock together well , they clean off easy I also put some in my anchor locker to prevent the anchor from banging around , great price too.
