Good as far as protein pancakes go
The taste is good. I mixed 45g of the mix with 120mls of almond milk which got me a decent, thick batter to make two large pancakes. Normal cows milk would also work just fine. While they are sweet, I don’t think it’s too over the top depending on what your taste preferences are. I add raspberries, banana and zero cal strawberry syrup for toppings.Yes, they can be quite dry, but I find all protein pancakes are like that and they don’t stay fluffy. That’s what you pay for a healthier alternative - it’s a compromise! Unfortunately I don’t think it’s possible to have a great tasting, non-dry protein pancake that tastes just as good as pancakes loaded with sugar and fat.Macros are very good (high protein and low carb and low sugar) so perfect if you struggle to get your protein in.

Poor product
Unfortunately my usual brand was out of stock so i purchased a bag of these. Price was good however the product itself was poor. Mixing it is difficult becomes the texture of glue. If you use more water/milk its easier to mix. The biggest issue is that it does not resemble a pancake it has the consistency and texture of scrambled eggs. It doesnt cook well, most pancakes when you have them on the pan the batter will have little holes as the heat escapes this helps it to cook through and solidifies the top. With these they dont cook through and when you go to flip the pancake the top is mostly liquid hence a big mess. I've tried leaving it on a low gas to see if it does cook through but all that happened was the bottom burnt. Ive messed around with the liquid to powder ratio but not had much success. While the protein serving is nice the texture of scrambled eggs, the rubber consistency and its poor cooking experience simply makes this a disappointing product.

Surprisingly tasty, quick to make and cheap!
I love these!! I do make them with milk as opposed to water. They always come out perfect and don’t taste that horrible protein pancake way. Nice and moist, defos not dry. I pair it with the bulk white choc pistachio spread. Really low calorie and helps the sweet tooth.

Good amount of protein but awful texture
This is almost inedible. It tastes horrible. The only way I have found to make it just about passable is to make the mix mostly with Greek yogurt and a little water and put loads of skinny syrup on it.It offers a good amount of protein for the calories though. The lemon flavoured one is better.

Don't buy just for pancakes
The taste is quite plasticy and the texture is the same, almost like cardboard. Needs about 75ml more milk per serving to make edible and adding a bit of sugar into the batter didnt hurt. However the macros are good and you get a lot of pancakes so overall I am pleased, as i didn't buy them for the taste.

not the best
I would say this is was a bad purchase, there's not really much likeness to pancake mix. It cooks strange and doesn't taste good at all. Of course you expect a bit of compromise considering it's a protein pancake, but this is just straight up bad. I would not recommend.

Mashed banana is the answer!
I made them with soy milk first, they were ok but had a little bit of an odd taste and texture. The next time I made them, I mixed it with the milk, left it for a few minutes then mixed in a mashed-up banana. Whilst cooking I put some blueberries on the pancakes before turning over. These are now my favourite breakfast! Texture and taste issues are sorted and taste like really great pancakes!

I like them a lot! Definitely recommend.
I bought the original one as I want to add my own flavouring. I used about 50g of pancake powder and about 150ml milk, added some sweetener and my own flavouring (butter biscuit flavour drops) and made them into crêpes. I made two thick ones out of those quantities (see fork for scale) but I think if you make them thinner there might be enough batter for three. As you can see on the photos, I served them with some vanilla skyr and frozen blueberries. They turned out lovely and yummy. They are a bit on the rubbery side, but that's because I made them quite thick and kept them in a frying pan for a little bit too long. Next time I will try making some proper pancakes 😋Definitely recommend!
