Awesome Markers
These markers initially seem a bit pricey compared to regular markers BUT they are by no means regular markers. My son is 10 and LOVES them! He has been into art lately and these markers are so fun. We actually "painted" a bunch of fun rocks together and you can layer the colors as well as blend them sort of like paint so long as you don't mind getting your hands a bit dirty. I will say these are better for older kids who are less messy because it is difficult to remove this marker from walls and such. The coloring end of the marker can be pulled out and flipped over if the tip gets a bit messy or flat. I would recommend and plan to buy him a larger set for his birthday!

Posca Pens Are The Best Bar None
I like Posca pens for rocks and other art projects. They work well and the paint looks great when dry. I've tried all the off brands (that don't work) and wasted money trying to save some. Posca's are a little expensive and don't last particularly well (they quickly run out of ink) but, the cheap ones usually don't work at all or are totally miserable. So, even though they are expensive I will always choose Posca Pens.

Great for Rock Painting.
I bought because seem to be recommended by most rock painters. Work great. But qould recommended keeping lid on qhen shaking to get ink started😳 I did not know what to get qhen I started so got a few different size tips. Turns out I should of gotten some more colors if wanting to do pictures instead of just words. Guess Ill have to just buy more 😉

Posca Pens
Nice for what they are made for. Limited as what can be done when using them. Painting with a brush is better. This style is next to coloring. Unable to make texture.

Markers
are supposedly the best or artist marker but they are similar to spray paint. My daughter absolutely loves them but they will run out fast with regular use. Will bleed through and stain, extremely hard to remove from hard surfaces, impossible to remove from fabric.

GAME CHANGER !!!
Paint pens ???Game changing technology for the artist !!!Super easy clean up if you're working at kitchen table with yourself or the kids.Cap tightly, scoop them up into bag, box or pencil pouch and BOOM you are ready to set the table for lunch or dinner !!!Color pay off is fantastic !!!

Love them
I have so far used the black and white marker to finish and enhance my acrylic fluid paintings. These are awesome. They blend with the existing design very well.
