I purchased this USB stick to store 8600 MP3 files in 15 folders to play on my carâs entertainment system when itâs Bluetooth decides to stop working (thatâs another story in itselfâŚ).My PC and laptop are fairly high spec â PC is Win 10 with SSD, i7 processor and 64 GB RAM and my laptop is Win 10 with SSD, i5 processor and 64 GB RAM, so my equipment is not the problem. I routinely copy large amounts of backup data to USB sticks and external SSDs and I have never had any problems like those detailed below.It took me over 4 hours to copy these MP3 files to the USB stick. The basic problem is that the write speed of this USB stick is very variable, varying from 0 Mbs (yes, zero) to a maximum of maybe 10 to 12 Mbs.I started copying MP3 files from my desktop PC. I managed to copy 3 folders and in that time, the PC completely froze twice and the only way I could switch it off was to unplug it from the mains. I gave up with the PC and switched to the laptop and after some experimentation, I found the only way I could copy the data to the USB stick was one folder at a time and then compare the folder properties at both source and destination to make sure everything was copied.This should have only taken 5 minutes to copy this data to the USB stick. Over 4 hours later, I was not impressed. At least the MP3 files played OK in my car. The only reason I stuck with this is because it was a one-off procedure and now I have the data on the USB stick, I wonât be changing it.I paid for a cheap USB stick and thatâs exactly what I got. I should have paid more for a USB stick from a well-known reputable manufacturer.

Use in my blink doorbell sync module 2 for storage, haven't had to transfer to desktop or other yet to see it's speed yet so will update stars appropriately when I do!

Works as advertised, good flash drive
So far so good, tried loading files to and from my iPad, worked fine no issues. Runs pretty quick and very usable. Can recommend.
