Detail in Contemporary Timber Architecture (paperback)

I saw these in a shop for £30 - £40 and checked on here. £21 is a bargain for these books.Lots of good details to help you get around some tricky detailing issues and all the details are on a CD so you can adapt and improve.Wouldn't live without the set!

Great book and unlike other architecture books is not just pretty pictures, the details are extremely useful and have many of them already.

This Book came without CD.

When I get a book about timber i assume i am going to have a book dealing with the structural quality of the wood, how it shapes the architecture, how its dimensions, proportions, qualities and also defaults lead to a certain architecture. Turns out I got a book about contemporary concrete and steel structures, (i admit SOME are purely wood...) where wood is just a facade, a detail of windows, nothing more. Want to see and understand the sizes of beam and frames, the chosen essence of wood, or anything related to wood architecture? Then don't buy it. No.

It's one of those books where nice pictures are backed up with some technical information... for me as carpenter this is must have book..

Bel libro, ma niente CD

Recomiendo el libro al 100%, detalles y sistemas no utilizados en Mexico, pero en base a ellos puedes solucionar y crear tus detalles, son muy buena base.
