Good family game
An easy to play game for all the family . Guide age on the box is 8+ and I think this is probably correct as a degree of understanding how to match and exchange tiles is required. We were introduced to it staying with friends on holiday and quickly became addicted , playing most evenings. The rules are simple to follow , if you have ever played rummy you will love this game.Only gripe, a bag to hold the tiles would have been a welcome extra.

A Nice Change from Computer Games ..... where you have to exercise your brain a bit!
Bought to replace an older and well-used game where the numbers on the tiles were fading. Much prefer the tile holders in this game as they are 3-tier, making it easier to organise and see your tiles (and also to see how many tiles your opponents have left!). Also they are much sturdier and you don't have to attach fiddly little feet that always fall off, so a much better design all round. The game itself is fun and gets you thinking about your own strategy and guessing what others are up to! You do need to keep your eye on the ball so as not to miss opportunities, so it does require some concentration for the more competitive player! Can easily play this game for hours and lose track of time. When my father-in-law was in hospital, he used to love playing it when my husband and I sneaked it in on our visits!

This is a game for everyone
Have played this game with family members many time .i bought this game as my grand children were interested and had only played on the travel version so this with the layered stand and bigger tiles was brilliant for them as they are 5 7 and 9 they need help sometimes from the adult but it helps with maths thinking and spending time away from i pads etc brilliant family game quite easy to learn

Good Family Game
We love Rummikub. I started playing as a teenager and 15 or so years later I'm still playing. We upgraded from the travel version to this one and it's brilliant. A really fun game of skill and luck mixed in. We have an annual score sheet to see who the year's winner is and then it gets scrapped and we start again in January. We don't follow the rule about minus points as with just 2 players it just doesn't work well in our opinion so we play with the winner getting zero and the loser getting the points on their tiles. We also keep a tally of how many games each of us has won.

Blue tile stands are much better!
This version of a very popular game is excellent. Build quality is superb and the blue tile stands are much better than the black upright ones which are normally sold with other manufacturers' versions of Rummikub; they're far more stable and they can accommodate more tiles. Like others who have commented, this game could do with some kind of drawstring bag to keep the tiles together in order to obviate the need to spread them out face down, especially if you have limited space. Fortunately we managed to find an old drawstring toiletry bag which is ideal. Great product and highly recommended.
