Does what it says on the tin
Well priced and does exactly what you need it to. Handy that you can check both forehead and ear ... Having a toddler I can't always get her to stay still enough for the ear temp check (although it is a tad more accurate) so being able to check her head instead is a godsend.No issues, temperature provided is always accurate.

It's a pain to get it to take the reading
I bought this for my newborn and the functions are great but it's such a pain to get it to take the reading as the button just doesn't seem to do anything no matter how gentle or firm you press it. With a kid you need to be quick! Then it will randomly take the temperature. There must be a 'knack' to it but it's so temperamental.The scan function where you press and hold thankfully works fine though but for a fussy newborn or child I wouldn't recommend this.
